All Elite Wrestling star Darby Allin was hit by a bus in New York City just weeks after breaking his foot in the ring.

The 31-year-old daredevil, who would climb Mount Everest with just six months of training before injuring himself on AEW Dynamite, revealed a gruesome and bloody photo of himself after the accident.

He revealed that he was simply “crossing the street” when the accident occurred, but still managed to attend a Broadway show that night.

Darby shared a grim selfie with blood on his face and a bandage taped to his nose, as well as another photo of him with his friend in the theater ready to watch the performance.

“That awkward moment when you cross the street in New York with a broken foot and get hit by a bus,” he wrote on Instagram.

'At least I can have fun with @raymond_pettibon_ and watch a Broadway show haha (sic)'

Fans were shocked by her latest incident, with follower @isiahx1865 commenting: 'Even when you're not fighting you get crazy bumps😭'

“You can stay home for a bit bro, you don't have to do everything at once right now,” replied @misterquasar, while Instagram user @nxthof asked, “How are you still alive bro?”

Darby was due to begin climbing Mount Everest in late March after relatively little training, with fans fearing for his life as he embarked on the notable challenge given his history of taking risks in and out of the ring.

However, he tweeted just two weeks before the match: 'Unfortunately feet actually broke in Wednesday's match. Everest will have to be next year. (sic)'

He suffered the injury when he fell from the top rope onto the floor at ringside, landing awkwardly and breaking his bone during his match with Switchblade Jay White.

Despite visibly limping, the former champion still fought and finished the fight as planned, which meant performing for another 10 minutes and continuing to fly around the ring.

He would climb Mount Everest with just six months of training from scratch, although experts generally recommend more than a year for mountaineering beginners, and he was well aware of the possibility of not returning alive.

'They told me that training with no mountain experience, in six months, to climb Everest is unheard of – let alone what I'm doing out there. [in the ring],' he exclusively told Metro.co.uk before the injury.

He added: “The first thing the coach said to me when I met him on Everest was: “Are you afraid of dying?” I'm like, “No.”

'He said, “That's the only mentality you need to have. Because if you’re worried about X, Y, and Z, leave right now.” And I'm like, “Whatever happens, happens, you know?”
