He credited Kapil's comedy for lifting his spirits during this period, acknowledging how laughter helped him overcome depressed phases.

Meanwhile, Aamir's previous outing was with the Bollywood remake of Tom Hanks' classic 'Forest Gump' titled 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. Unfortunately, the film did not perform well among audiences due to its poor storytelling and underwhelming performances.
