Chrissy Teigen recently exposed her body's typical reaction to attending red carpet events.
The 38-year-old model stepped out for the premiere of the new Netflix series, A complete man, on Wednesday, April 24, alongside her husband, John Legend. And while it was all smiles outside the event, just hours before, Teigen was feeling a lot of anxiety.
On her Instagram story, the mother of four posted a photo of her skin with the caption: “Hives anxiety before every event.”
In the image, Teigen's chest had red spots scattered below her collarbone. The cookbook author was in the car on the way to the premiere, nervousness and jitters taking over.
At the Tudum Theater in Los Angeles, Teigen had her own “Marilyn Monroe moment” on the carpet when her high-slit dress split open in front of the cameras. She quickly adjusted the polka dot satin outfit, laughing.
“It's, like, a tool now. It’s not even a vagina,” joked Teigen.
Despite her cheerful mood, the TV star was not feeling well health-wise. Speaking with Entertainment tonightTeigen admitted that she contracted a mild illness.
She said, “I have all of our children’s illnesses.”
Teigen and Legend share Luna Simone, seven, Miles Theodore, five, Esti Maxine, one, and eight-month-old Wren Alexander.
During a February appearance on The Jennifer Hudson ShowTeigen opened up about her “busy life” as a mom after welcoming Wren.
“Everyone asks, 'How are the babies?' And I say, 'There's a lot of them!' Like, I don't really know how to respond, it's just a lot,” she commented. “It’s so good, it’s chaotic, it’s crazy.”
Raising a six-month-old and a one-year-old may seem like a more difficult task than caring for a seven- and five-year-old, but according to Teigen, the two oldest children are more difficult when you factor in all of your activities.
“They do so many things every day and they never get tired,” Teigen told Hudson.
Meanwhile, being a parent to Esti and Wren isn't difficult with the two being so close in age. Teigen even said they are “turning into twins.”
