Bollywood Actress Vidya Balanwho is busy with the promotions of her film 'Do Aur Do Pyaar', revealed that she stayed 'with a broken heart' after being 'betrayed' in the past relationship. The actress stated that she judged her worth after an ex-boyfriend betrayed her with someone.
In an interview with Film Companion, Vidya was asked a question about how someone with her achievements and beauty could be betrayed. To this, Vidya replied, “When someone cheats on you, it is not a reflection on you. In fact, it is a reflection of them. I didn't know that at the time. I was very young. I was devastated, heartbroken and torn apart. And you think: 'Ah! Am I not good enough?' It's never about you; (It's about) the person who's cheating and it's about what that person is looking for. It's still shit.
Earlier, in an interview with Indian Express, Vidya Balan spoke about her ex-boyfriend who cheated on her. The actress said: “I was betrayed. The first boy I dated cheated on me and I have to say he was just an idiot. I remember we had just broken up and I bumped into him at college on Valentine's Day and he turned around and said, 'I'm just going to meet my ex-girlfriend for a date.' And I was like what? He literally crushed me that day, but I've done better than that in life.”
“I wasn’t a serial dater. I dated a few men, but luckily my first serious and long-term relationship was with the man I am married to,” added Vidya Balan. The actress married producer Siddharth Roy Kapur in 2012.
On the work front, Vidya will next be seen with Pratik Gandhi in 'Do Aur Do Pyaar'. In this romantic comedy, a once-in-love couple are having affairs with other people. They become closer again on vacation and are now unsure how to reveal the same to the people they are having affairs with.
