The Australian TV personality first appeared on screen in 2020 in the first season of the raunchy competition show, in which castmates must remain abstinent to win a cash prize.

In a TikTok video posted on Friday (April 26), Jowsey, 26, spoke directly to the camera about her health and captioned the post: “Please wear sunscreen.”

“I'll be fine, everything will be fine. I just wanted to make this post to let you know that summer is coming. Please use sunscreen.

Jowsey also advocated for viewers to regularly check their skin for signs of blemishes and freckles.

“If you're a freckled mole frog like me, go get a mole map and check your body, because you never know,” he said.

“I've had this on my back for a year or two, I had no idea. I just want to save and protect one of you out there.

“So go get a skin check, wear sunscreen and be a little more responsible, because this is what I have to do now and it's really scary.”

Jowsey has not shared the type of skin cancer he was diagnosed with, nor any information about the treatment he will receive. The Independent has reached out to its representatives for further comment.
