Peter Andre confirmed his return to the spotlight, shortly after the birth of his daughter, who remains unnamed.

The Australian pop star, 51, became a father for the fifth time earlier this month when his wife Emily, 34, gave birth to their third child together.

He and NHS doctor Emily already had daughter Amelia, 10, and son Theo, six, while Peter has son Junior, 18, and daughter Princess, 16, with his ex-wife Katie Price.

It's well known, though, that their latest arrival is nameless, as the doting parents still disagree on possible nicknames.

Putting all that stress aside for a moment, Peter took to social media this weekend to give fans some exciting news.

On his Instagram Story, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker revealed when he would be returning to work.

The star will be “live on stage” at the Foodies Festival, an annual event for food and music lovers, this spring in Cardiff, Tunbridge Well and Edinburgh.

'Hey, guys! I can't wait to join you at the UK's biggest food and music festival in Cardiff, Tunbridge Wells and Edinburgh!', said the singer in a video.

'The first will be Cardiff in just a few weeks, May 12th. Now, for those who know me, you know that I love cooking. So I'll be doing it live with TV chefs – and there might be some other things going on.

His announcement came after he asked fans for suggestions on what to name his daughter, born on April 3.

Upon announcing his birth, Peter and Emily expressed their joy.

Alongside some photos of the hospital, he wrote: “We feel so overwhelmed right now. I am so happy to welcome our beautiful baby girl into the family.

'Mother and daughter are doing great. Born Tuesday, April 2, 2024, 7 pounds 3 ounces and thankfully very healthy.

He added: “The baby has been spoiled with hugs from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo, who are in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn't be happier.

'The only thing is…. She doesn't have a name yet. Help!'

Since then, his followers have been offering potentials, some of which Peter is a fan of.

Emily, however, not so much!

“Athena or Ophelia,” one fan wrote in the comments of a new Instagram post.

Responding, Pedro said: 'Athena is also running. I'm not sure how Ems feels about this but I LOVE IT 🥰'

Replying to someone else, Peter revealed: 'Charlotte is also in the running. I like Charlie.

Well, they'll have to squirm!

Although, unfortunately for Emily, it seems like most of the pressure is on her shoulders.

Speaking previously about the delay in naming the baby, Peter said OK! Magazine: 'We're still no closer to a name for our newest bundle of joy! Whenever Emily and I talk about this, it gets brushed aside.

'She is recovering after all, so I completely understand.'

“We've been trying out names suggested by our friends and family, but Emily and I don't seem to agree on them,” he added.

“So I think it's only fair for Emily to decide – I hope she chooses a good decision.”
