We're just days away from the much-needed closure of 'Queen of Tears', which literally left fans in tears! From being the 'couple of the century' to a bitter relationship and divorce to rekindling romance – Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun) and Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) has been through a rollercoaster over the past few weeks. Add a major health twist, property issues, people from the past and you have a binge-worthy, glued-to-TV drama drama! Before the finale, which arrives this weekend, here's a sort of theory of what you can expect episode 15 and 16.
Twist 1: Return of the Prodigal Son
Hong Beom-seok (Park Yoon-hee) made fleeting appearances in the narrative, asking his father for forgiveness. It's time for this prodigal son to return to restore the Queens group to glory. The unresolved tension between Hong Beom-seok and his father remains a mysterious clue, giving hope that he will have a big role to play in the end. Whether it's his actions or some secret he keeps, Hong Beom-seok will make sure the Group of queens rise like a phoenix!
Twist 2: Hong and Baek Families UNITED
In the last few episodes we saw how the Hong family softened and started to like the Baek family, so much so that Hong Soo-cheol (Kwak Dong-yeon) refused to return to Seoul. The connection is evident and we can smell an interesting smell here. Baek Hyun-tae, Hyun-woo's older brother, who would invest in stocks, could very well have an important role to play in the Hong family regaining control of the Queens group, ultimately leading to a strong union of the families.

Theory 3: Yoon Eun-sung and Mo Seul-hee's intrigues come to an end
Mo Seul-hee (Lee Mi-sook) and Yoon Eun-sung (Park Sung-hoon) seem to have dug their own grave. The preview suggested that Baek Hyun-woo's team would spring into action to put a stop to his scandalous schemes, while also trying to break Hyun-woo out of prison. The finale will witness the mother and son being cornered and how!
Theory 4: Hong Soo-cheol and Cheon Da-hye find their happy ending
After living in a fake relationship for years, Cheon Da-hye (Lee Joo-bin) seems to have finally settled for Hong Soo-cheol (Kwak Dong-yeon) as the man of her dreams. The duo stayed with Hyun-woo's family in Yongdu-ri and we can't wait to imagine the once-elite Seoul couple living a simple life in the countryside with their song Geon-woo. Whatever the writers have planned, it's sure to be a happy ending for this couple!

Theory 5: The lovers finally find peace
Fleeting memories of love are returning to Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won)… but will it be enough for the lovers to come together? We'd be lying if we said we didn't miss the fiery drama between Har-in and Hyun-woo! As much as we want a happy ending, it must also be realistic and convincing. Let's trust Park Ji-eun, who also wrote Crash Landing on You, to give us a similar, sappy ending and no one will complain!
