Actor Fardeen Khanwho was last seen in the film 'Dulha Mill Gaya' in 2010, is gearing up to make a comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali'OTT series'The Constitution'. He will be seen playing the character of Nawab Wali Muhammad in the series. Before the release, the actor revealed in an interview why he decided to take a break from the film.
During an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Fardeen revealed her reason for taking a break from Bollywood. He shared, “Aap keh nahi sakte zindagi mein kis mode pe kya hota hai. Before that, my last release in 2010 was Dulha Mil Gaya. And for some personal reasons, I feel that a 2-3 year break from this industry and work is necessary. I had to focus on my family. But when my daughter was born, that teenager started to grow from 6 to 8 years old and then my son was born. And then it got longer and I was a full-time dad.”
He further added that he was happy to do this, but he longed to be part of the profession he chose, the one he grew up doing, observing and learning. Over these twelve years, many things have changed; audiences have evolved and the way films are made has transformed. The actor stated that he came back with the enthusiasm of a newcomer and is working with the same attitude.
Talking about his future plans, the actor shared, “While I am excited and nervous, I am also curious to know what kind of roles directors and writers will offer me after seeing my work. It's not often that you can stay a gap for so long and still be remembered and have an opportunity. I’m excited for my children to see my work as I will be introduced to a whole new generation of film lovers.”
