The latest episode of Britain's Got Talent was hit with multiple Ofcom complaints following a woman's one-off audition.

Kimberly Winter's unusual act saw her perform in front of judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli on the ITV show and burp ABBA's The Winner Takes It All. Yes definitely.

The full-time mom shocked the audience and the panel when, instead of singing along to the background music, she started making a completely different type of sound.

Alesha, 45, immediately impressed, immediately stood up, while Amanda, 53, put her face behind her hands. Usually difficult to impress Simon, 64, found the whole thing amusing and chuckled.

At several points during the performance, the camera panned to the audience who were horrified by what they witnessed. While hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 48, responded by pretending to be ill.

Alesha and Bruno, 68, heard everything they wanted, so after about thirty seconds, they pressed the red buzzer to get her off the stage.

Despite their disapproval, Kimberly still had her moment and took a small bow after completing the song.

The conquered audience rewarded her with screams of joy and Amanda then began to participate in the burps. This was too much for Alesha, who stated: 'I'm out of here.'

“It was so stupid, it was brilliant,” Simon commented. His nine-year-old son Eric ran over to the table to steal his microphone and burp, which seemed to inspire Simon to join in the madness.

Kimberly had traveled from America to appear on the show, and it wasn't a wasted journey as she was submitted after Bruno changed his mind by joining Amanda and Simon with yes.

Explaining why, Bruno said: 'I can't imagine how you're going to get over this rudeness.'

The April 20 episode received 54 complaints from Ofcom – all relating to this singular audition.

Some viewers took to X to express how disgusted they were by the entire segment.

'I can't burp on command. Plus, it’s just revolting,” wrote Flopsy Pickle.

Vikky added: 'How did the burp perform? Like, what was she trying to achieve? It was totally disgusting!

'Coming on TV to burp?! We need to bring back shame,” insisted Kayla Saunders.

However, others supported his choice of act. 'Imagine the look on the Queen Consort's face when Kimberly does a rendition of Waterloo. Forget Golden Buzzer, she deserves a knighthood,” wrote the Spotted Bargains account. The winner of Britain's Got Talent receives £250,000 cash and a place on the Royal Variety Performance.

While Bizzy Lizzy 'laughed a lot' while watching the audition.

Elsewhere in the weekend's episodes, escape artist Danny ZZZZ locked himself inside a box and set it on fire.

The flames exploded faster than expected, prompting the auditee to breaking the bottom of the box to get out safely and Simon couldn't hide his disappointment.

Britain's Got Talent continues on Saturday 27th April at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
