The actress and comedian was arrested in November after driving drunk in Beverly Hills, California
Tiffany Haddish was charged in her second DUI case following her arrest last month after allegedly being found asleep behind the wheel of a parked car in Beverly Hills, California last month, Rolling Stone confirmed.
O After party the actress and comedian was charged with two misdemeanor counts: driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol level of at least 0.08 percent. She is scheduled for arraignment on December 22.
A rep for Haddish did not immediately respond. Rolling Stonerequest for comment.
On November 24, Haddish was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. According to a public information officer with the Beverly Hills Police Department, police responded to a call of a person blocking a road, possibly slumped over the steering wheel. When officers arrived and found Haddish, a DUI investigation was conducted and Haddish was arrested. The comedian was booked and released several hours later.
Hours before his arrest, the comedian performed at the West Hollywood Laugh Factory, at a free Thanksgiving event, TMZ reported.
The incident marked the second time in two years that Haddish was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was arrested in Georgia in January 2022 after witnesses reported seeing a driver “asleep at the wheel.” The separate case remains ongoing, with Haddish reportedly returning to court on December 4.
In an interview last month with ETHaddish said such an incident “will never happen again” and added that she wanted to seek help “so I can learn balance and boundaries.”
