Welcome to Wrexham was renewed earlier this month and it looks like the third installment, set to premiere in spring 2024, will be complemented by a weekly podcast, This week in Wrexham.

Men in Blazers Media Network announced the season’s podcast series this morning, set to be “powered” by Wrexham AFC’s official stadium sponsor, STōK Cold Brew Coffee.

This week in Wrexham will be a stream of content for American audiences, allowing fans to follow
with Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds’ football club on and off the pitch. The podcast will consist of 30 weekly episodes and will be presented by local correspondent, Thomas Wynne Lewis – also known as “Tommy Cheese” – journalist and long-time supporter of the club. Lewis will record weekly travel logs following the team, both home and away.

Additionally, Lewis will join host Roger Bennett in an in-depth monthly digital special alongside a key Wrexham figure from the playing staff or back office, starting with Wrexham’s record goalscorer Paul Mullin. Content will be distributed across Men in Blazers’ social channels, podcast feeds and The Raven newsletter.

The Men in Blazers Media Network offers Wondery-distributed podcasts, TV shows, digital series, newsletters, live tours and a co-production partnership with Twitch.

Said Men in Blazers Media Network co-founder Roger Bennett, “With This week in Wrexham
We look forward to telling the story of the current season as it is played week by week, game by game, emotion by emotion.”

McElhenney added: “I’m thrilled that Men in Blazers and STōK are teaming up to give a weekly look at the Club to its American audience, allowing a new group of people to find the joy (and sometimes the pain)
this team can bring.
