AMC Networks has set Sunday, February 25th for the premiere of the latest TWD spinoff The Walking Dead: Those Who Live. The series, starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in a reprisal of their roles as Rick Grimes and Michonne, will debut on AMC and AMC+. A new teaser was also released tonight during the series finale of Fear the walking dead. You can watch it above.
From the synopsis: The Walking Dead: Those Who Live presents an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world. Kept separated by distance. For unstoppable power. For the ghosts of who they were. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead… And ultimately, a war against the living. Will they be able to find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they have ever known? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Winners? Without each other, are they still alive – or will they discover that they are also the Walking Dead?
The cast also includes Pollyanna McIntosh returning as Jadis from Living Dead, Terry O’Quinn as Beale and Matt Jeffries Matt, along with Lesley-Ann Brandt as Pearl.
The Walking Dead: Those Who Live is executive produced by showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Lincoln, Gurira, Denise Huth and Brian Bockrath.
