'Salaar': Advance booking for US premiere of Prabhas-starrer film crosses Rs 5 crore, reports state

Salaar has immense meaning for Prabhas and Prashanth Neel. For Prabhas, it marks a pivotal point in his career as after the Baahubali franchise, maintaining consistent box office success has been a challenge. Although his films have strong openings, maintaining momentum has proven to be a struggle.
For Neel, the film is of pivotal importance following the huge success of the KGF franchise, with speculation suggesting a potential shared universe between the two cinematic worlds. The film would conflict with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, director Prashanth Neel spoke about the clash. He said, “Facing any film, be it a debutant or the biggest star of Indian cinema, is not an ideal situation. However, decisions about release dates are typically logistical and made by the production team. I don't interfere with their marketing or release plans, just as they don't interfere with my filming process. While another big film like “Dunki” with Rajkumar Hirani is a significant release, our main concern is always whether the audience will appreciate and enjoy our film.”
Apart from Prabhas, the film also stars Prithivraj, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu AnandJagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao and Sriya Reddy.
