MANILA, Philippines – The Mutya ng Pasig Mega Market in Pasig City will remain open for 24 hours until December 31, 2023, the Pasig City local government unit said on Tuesday.

According to the LGU, this allows shoppers more time to purchase items for the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays.

“In December, Mutya ng Pasig Mega Market operations will be 24 hours to give consumers an opportunity and a longer period of time – fruits, vegetables, chicken, fish, pork, rice, grocery items to prepare for Noche Buena and Media Night; and clothes, toys, textiles and other gifts for Christmas,” he said on his Facebook page.

“Although the market is open 24 hours, it depends on the sellers whether they want to sell all 24 hours,” the Pasig LGU added.
