Palmeiras doesn't just win trophies in four lines. In addition, the club received three awards for its campaign (“@palmeiras not found”) on social media regarding missing people.

At the AMPRO Globes Awards, Verdão won in the categories “Best Use of Public Relations”, “Best Entertainment Action” and “Best Social Content”.

The initiative took place in October 2022 in cooperation with the non-governmental organization Mães da Sé, which helps families search for missing people. At the time, the club's Twitter account was deleted, causing confusion on social media and the press, only to reappear the next day.

The profile, which had 3.6 million followers at the time, was reactivated with a video by President Leila Pereira detailing why the account disappeared.

“If you, a Palmeiras fan, have missed our Twitter account, imagine the agony and pain of a mother who cannot find her child. I invite the entire Palmeiras Family to learn about the work carried out by the non-governmental organization Mães da Sé, which provides care and hope for thousands of families who have missing people,” he added.

The new distinction comes a week after Palmeiras received awards at the two most important festivals in the world focusing on the advertising market. The first of these was the Portuguese Lusófonos da Criatividade, created to highlight the best works from the segment developed in Portuguese-speaking countries. Then the prestigious Latin American SportBiz Award in the “Sports Real Estate – Best CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Campaign” category.
