This was announced by the Commissioner for Information and Civic Guidance, Prince Dotun Oyelade, in a statement released on Wednesday in Ibadan.

The authority, approved at the 8th Executive Council Meeting held last week, aims to promptly arrest and prosecute those who violate environmental and social laws.

The state government will take a firm stance on offenses such as indiscriminate dumping of garbage, obstruction of traffic flow, driving against traffic, disregard for traffic signs, occupation of public roads with commercial activities, noise pollution and other related offenses, as per specified by law.

In response to this initiative, the State Governor, Eng. 'Seyi Makinde directed the Ministry of Information and Civic Guidance to erect billboards across the state to alert citizens and residents about the government's zero tolerance stance towards these crimes .

The state government encourages the public to cooperate fully in achieving the objectives of the Law Enforcement Authority.
