Rapper and singer Bad Bunny was caught engaging in un-rock star behavior when he was caught reading a book in a crowded nightclub last week.

The 29-year-old Puerto Rican musician is best known for hits like Yo Perreo Sola, La Romana and the number one hit I Like It with collaborators Cardi B and J Balvin.

Hailed as 'The King of the Latin Trap', he is an icon among his adoring Gen Z fanbase, affectionately known as 'Los Conejos' – or 'The Bunnies'.

The rapper recently went viral after being spotted at a busy nightclub… with his nose buried in a book.

This was shared by TikTok user @beezinmytims, who posted a video of the star turning pages while partygoers danced around her.

'Why is Bad Bunny reading in the club' asked the TikTok user as the rap sensation apparently squinted to focus against the club's dim lighting.

At the end of the clip, he seemed to finally look up from his book and take in his surroundings.

As the footage went viral on X, fans shared their thoughts on Bad Bunny's strange behavior.

“He's not like other girls,” joked @scammerswifts.

“He really is so real for this,” said @takecarehours.

“I'm surprised he can concentrate with music playing in his ears,” @arianaunext added.

“You can never skip literacy day,” raved @AStateOfPete.

“He wants so badly to be different,” said @imnotpopbase, a little less charitably.

Can't a rapper read a book in peace around here?

When he's not reading and clubbing (apparently at the same time), the star – whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio – is known for his colorful wardrobe and innovative fashion sense.

However, the flamboyant star has historically been less forthcoming when it comes to her private life.

In 2023, he was spotted with Kendall Jenner in the front row at Gucci's Milan Fashion Week, fueling rumors of their romance.

The pair were wagging their tongues but refused to confirm or deny whether they were dating. “I’m not really interested in clarifying anything because I’m not committed to clarifying anything for anyone,” he told Vanity Fair.

'I'm clear and my friend Jomar is clear and my mother is clear. They are the only ones I should clarify anything to.

'As for Juliana Dominguez from Mississippi, I have nothing I need to clarify for her. Never. About anything,” he added, seeming to pick a random name as an example.

However, it was later reported by People that the pair split in December 2023, months after Kendall, 28, supported Bad Bunny on SNL.
