LARCHMONT VILLAGE, California – The takeout menu at Suá Superette may be convenient, but it's no ordinary Chinese fast food. Each dish in the new kitchenette/cafe is prepared with local organic produce and the highest quality sustainable proteins. Furthermore, the entire menu is dairy-free, refined sugar-free and most items are also gluten-free and nut-free.

“We are both from the Sichuan region of China, known for its incredible flavors,” said Jing Gao, co-founder of Suá Superette with Shephanie Hjelmeseth.

“We’re offering something a little different than most other stores or coffee shops,” Hjelmeseth said. “It’s really incredible to see the welcome we received from the community. They are very excited to find out who we are.”
