Scoring the heel goal and with a great performance in Água Santa's 2-0 victory over Ituano last Sunday in Canindé for the Campeonato Paulista team, striker Paulo Keké celebrated the good moment he experienced in the Neptune shirt and also the opportunity to contribute to the victory over Galo de Itú.
Hired by Água Santa at the request of coach Bruno Pivetti, Keké started the provincial competition very well and was one of the most important figures of the Diadema team. The goal against Ituano was the striker's first goal in Paulistão, but he often performed well when he took the pitch in a Netuno shirt.
– I knew that even though he didn't score goals, he did well and helped the team on the pitch. The goal came at the right moment and I think the trend is to gain more confidence, work even harder to score goals more often and thus help Água Santa even more,' said the player.
Despite relegation, the young player had a great year at Tommbense last year. This year he saw an opportunity to repeat the good year in Paulistão and stated that he expects to repeat last year's good play this season.
– I know that last year I helped Tombense on the pitch, but unfortunately we went down and that ended up erasing what we did on the pitch. I know that if I repeat the performance I had here, I will be able to achieve some of the goals I have set for myself in my career. I hope to ensure the sporting return of Água Santa, who believed in me, and I will also be able to achieve the goals they have, he explained.
