He told Firstpost that he is the trolls' favorite because he gets trolled a lot. However, he added that he also started to enjoy being trolled. Explaining poetically, Karan said, “The only thing is when you can't beat them, you can join them and the only way to join them is to troll them back.”
He further added that he doesn't let these trollers affect him because he has a name and they don't. “You’re hiding behind your name and I’m not,” he said of the trolls.
Recently, Karan opened up about his anxiety attack and admitted that he has been taking medication for anxiety after consulting a professional.
“What happens to me or anyone else, can happen to anyone. It doesn't mean you need a trigger, sometimes it's a result of many things, sometimes there is a trigger. a part of the life that exists. This exists today too, as I speak. I'm not afraid to say that 'I'm taking medicine',” Karan said recently during a press conference for his show Coffee with Karan.

When Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone appeared on his talk show, Karan spoke about experiencing an anxiety attack at the launch of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) in April this year.
He said that most moments on the show are improvised and that him opening up about his anxiety was something he felt he needed to share. “I feel like I was, in 2016, at a stage where I discovered that I was experiencing anxiety. You get better and sometimes you come back, you came back at the beginning of this year. that, and the first thing is to recognize that,” said Karan.
Meanwhile, Karan has been receiving praise for his latest directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani starring Ranveer, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan between others. He is currently busy hosting Coffee with Karan 8.
