Returning from the Pre-Olympic Games after the defeat of the Brazilian team, John Kennedy will present himself to Fluminense next Wednesday (14). The hero of the Libetadores victory will be able to face Madureira next Saturday (17). However, they will not face LDU in the first match of the Recopa Sudamericana, which will take place on February 22 in Quito, Ecuador.

This is because the forward sent off in the Libertadores final against Boca Juniors at the Maracanã will have to serve a suspension. He will be able to return to the pitch in the next match, in the return leg, on February 29 in Rio de Janeiro.

The striker received a second yellow and then a red card after scoring the winning goal. That's because he celebrated with fans on the steps of the Maracanã and the rules don't allow that.

Alexsander is another person who will return to the Fluminense team after participating in the pre-Olympic competitions. There is a tendency for the midfielder to join the delegation going to the Recopa Sul-Americana tournament in Ecuador.

Fluminense leads the Carioca championship with 17 points. The team will face Vasco at the Maracanã next Wednesday (14) at 21:30. On Saturday against Madureira in the Campeonato Carioca, the team will undergo the last test before the first match against LDU.

Fluminense has already set the schedule for the first final of the season. Thus, the club's management understood that the planned plan was perfect for the trip to take place next Monday (19).
