The co-founder of Inflection AI talked about the “absolutely crazy” weekend experienced by his rival OpenAI and told employees to “run with us.”
Mustafa Suleyman, who is also CEO, spoke to X on Monday, offering condolences to “everyone involved” and taking the opportunity to announce the progress of his artificial intelligence startup.
“Meanwhile, we finished Inflection-2 training last night! It is currently the second best LLM in the world… and we are growing MUCH further,” Suleyman said in Post X. “Details coming soon. Run with us!”

In May, Inflection AI launched its Pi chatbot to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Pi was designed to serve users as a personal assistant, and it can generate emotional support and advice.
