One of The Inbetweeners stars has recalled one of his most iconic scenes from the TV show, when he strutted down a catwalk with his testicle on display.

What makes remembering the episode even more hilarious is the new revelation that he didn't even try to hide his genital area when the cameras stopped rolling, as at the end of the day he was “so broken.”

In a new episode of Rob Beckett's Smart TV, actor Joe Thomas joined stars including Alison Hammond and Josh Widdicombe on the panel.

In an exclusive clip shared by Metro.co.ukthe 40-year-old – who played student Simon Cooper in the famously crude sitcom The Inbetweeners – was asked about his testicle-baring catwalk stunt.

'So it was a prosthesis they put in?' asked Rob, 38.

'No, it was not. They said, “Do you want a prosthetic testicle?” But I thought, “That’s not exactly dignified.” I mean, the show is what it is. That’s my genuine testicle,” Joe replied.

Rob appeared to be in disbelief at the actor's admission, commenting: 'Are you crazy? Is this your bullshit?

After confirming that this was indeed the case, Joe received an intriguing question from The Last Leg star Josh, 40.

'Between the shots did you put it back or did it just sit there?' he commented.

Joe candidly described why he didn't feel the need to “put it back on” when he wasn't filming.

'At the end of the day I was so devastated I didn't care if I was out or not. I was like, “It's out,”' he explained, shrugging his shoulders.

“I guess we can say you did your own stunts,” Rob joked.

During a recent interview with Metro.co.ukThe Inbetweeners star James Buckley shared that he still finds the show funny, especially his character Jay Cartwright's signature explicit catchphrase.

You and both of us, James!

“It might be a little more obnoxious or embarrassing than being the actor who is so fed up with a character and too cool for school, but I still think it's funny,” he said.

'I don't know if this is more embarrassing and if I should have grown up.'

Rob Beckett's Smart TV is a new TV comedy show from the creators of Never Mind the Buzzcocks, which revolves around TV trivia with a variety of celebrity guests.

In this week's episode, Joe will star alongside Gregg Wallace, Alan Davies and Ruth Madeley, as well as presenter Rob and team captains Alison and Josh.
