Gemma Collins has announced that she is engaged to long-term partner Rami Hawash.

The Only Way Is Essex star agreed to marry Rami while on holiday at a luxury resort in the Maldives.

Rami enjoyed the special moment with a candlelit dinner on the beach, where the sand was covered in thousands of rose petals. Valentine's Day came early for Gemma!

After saying yes, Gemma, 43, confirmed the happy news with a simple: 'Get your hats ready. And that.'

A source shared details of the magical moment, which involved a mango dessert and four illuminated words.

“She didn't know what was going on until a huge platter of cakes appeared and as Gemma started to eat her mango dessert, Rami surprised her and said, 'look at this,'” they said. The sun.

'He lit up: 'Will you marry me?' in the sand.'

The ring was presented to Gemma in a shell to match the location, and she “couldn’t wish for anything more.”

“She is absolutely thrilled and can’t believe this is finally happening,” they added.

The two have had a long journey together after meeting in 2011.

They first saw each other in a local Essex pub, but it wasn't until two years later that they started dating.

Rami soon joined Gemma on the reality show that made her famous and viewers got a glimpse of their new relationship. However, in 2014 they went their separate ways.

What was meant to happen will not go unnoticed, and that was certainly the case for Rami and Gemma, who got back in touch six years later. They have been together ever since and have now cemented their love with an engagement.
