As part of his official duties, Endrick hit several balls for the Boston Red Sox, working with pitcher Darius Garland. The Palmeiras player attended a dinner with the NBA player, family and staff at Fenway Garden, the century-old and oldest stadium in the American baseball league MLB, which was built in 1912.

“Even in my wildest dreams I couldn't imagine that I would experience all this. I met Tatum in one day, now Garland… These are guys I've seen on TV because I'm an NBA fan. And yet I was able to be in that stadium, which is a reference for me, to try playing baseball, which I had never done before,” Endrick said.

Endrick left the dinner with two special gifts. The forward received a Boston Red Sox jersey with the number 9 printed on the back and a Cleveland Cavaliers jersey with the number 10 autographed by Garland. The young man also gave the basketball player a Palmeiras T-shirt.

Next Thursday, Endrick will say goodbye to Boston, the Massachusetts city where New Balance, his new sports equipment supplier, is based. Taking advantage of his holiday, the Palmeiras striker then travels to the Spanish capital to respond to the invitation of Florentino Pérez, the president of Real Madrid, his future club. There, the striker will visit the facilities of the Merengue club.
