Denise Welch gave a special gift to her Loose Women co-star Linda Robson, which got quite a reaction.

After discovering that Linda had never owned a sex toy during a dressing room conversation, Denise couldn't let it continue and decided to take matters into her own hands.

She did everything she could to make sure her friend could have fun… *ahem*. The 65-year-old bought Linda's first vibrator and gifted it to her ITV colleague without warning.

'When she gave it to me, I thought, 'What the hell do I do with this?'' Linda recalled.

But instead of reading the instruction manual or going to the Metro sex section, Linda, 65, got rid of it for fear of being discovered.

She added to OK!: 'What if the kids find it?! So I ended up donating.

Of course there is no shame in having a toy and Linda, if you do repurchase then the back of the underwear drawer is always a good place.

O The Birds Of A Feather actress doesn't have much interest in 'jiggy jiggy' now, anyway, after announcing her separation from her husband of 33 years, Mark Dunford, father of her two children – Louis and Roberta. She also has a daughter, Lauren, from a previous relationship.

'I do not need a man. I have my friends and family. I’m not interested in any of that,” she said.

The always honest Linda revealed on Loose Women last year that she actually abstained from sex for a while.

“I can just say I've been celibate for two years,” she admitted while discussing the topic of sex breaks.

Linda is set to release her memoir, Truth Be Told: Tales from a Baggy Mouth on February 15th and, as the title suggests, will be equally sincere.

She talks openly about her mental illness which began in 2008 when her son Louis was out with a friend the night he was stabbed and died at the scene.

Linda reveals that she tried to eat oranges to cover the smell of alcohol on her breath and took a toothbrush wherever she went, but now she knows how impossible it was to hide it.
