Interestingly, Cristiano Ronaldo's mother, Dona Dolores, is a fan of Grêmio. She revealed this in the “question box”, an Instagram tool created by her daughter Katia Aveiro. A follower of CR7's sister asked which Brazilian band her mother liked the most.

“I wish you all the best in the world. Ready, Grêmio,” revealed Cristiano Ronaldo's mother.

The choice of Grêmio can be explained by the fact that Katia runs a restaurant serving Portuguese cuisine in the city of Gramado, in Serra Gaúcha. The commune is located approximately 120 km from Porto Alegre. The star's sister is even the wife of a Grêmio fan from Rio Grande do Sul. Interestingly, Grêmio lost the 2017 Club World Cup 1-0 to Real Madrid thanks to a goal by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo turned 39 on February 5 and currently plays for the Al-Nassr team from Saudi Arabia. Previously, the Portuguese star and one of the greatest players of all time also played for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United (twice), Real Madrid and Juventus.

Including clubs and national teams, the striker has nearly 900 goals in his career. In the 2023/2024 season, Cristiano Ronaldo scored 30 goals in 31 matches.
