The eight-part series will span the band’s 10-year career

BTS has released a trailer for their upcoming project, Monuments: beyond the star with Disney+ on Monday.

The eight-part documentary series will hit the platform on December 20 and will span the group’s 10-year career, with two new episodes released every Wednesday. According to a press release, the in-depth look at their journey will offer a “glimpse into the countless obstacles and challenges the band encountered in reaching the global milestones that defined their career, as well as the members’ daily lives and inner thoughts.” .

The video teased highlights from interviews with the members. “I felt every emotion,” J-Hope says at the beginning of the short clip, while RM adds, “We did it.”

BTS announced their hiatus in 2022 as all seven members plan to complete their mandatory service in the coming years. In August, RM assured fans that the group would return in 2025, and Jung Kook recently said that he is looking forward to the reunion.

“Preparing myself as a solo artist and also working as a solo musician… there were times when I really missed (being in the group),” he said in an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music. “When I was in the waiting room or alone on stage or eating with the crew. We were always together for so many years that I felt the emptiness of them not being by my side.”

“You know, I miss them. And I was thinking about them. So I suppose this year might seem far away, but I don’t want to think that way,” she added. “I think the synergy of BTS in 2025 will be incredible. I’m so looking forward to it.”
