Close to making their Libertadores 2024 debut, Botafogo is racing against time to announce its new players. And when it comes to the black and white board, it will be a very busy week until the players' regularization deadline.
The black and white club will have to send Conmebol a list of 50 players registered for the first two phases by next Friday, February 16. However, according to “ge”, Botafogo still does not consider the squad closed, despite the tight deadline.
The transfer window in Brazil remains open until March 7, and the Libertadores group stage does not start until April 2. If Botafogo acquires new players after the registration deadline for the preliminary stage and advances to the group stage, the Rio club will be able to make changes to the list.
