MANILA, Philippines — Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig “represents an ideal and strategic choice” as the location for the proposed relocation of the House of Representatives, Taguig City Mayor Ma. Larni “Lani” Cayetano said Monday.

at BGC is expected to be partially opened in 2024. The Senate will also partially begin operations in its new building by July 2024.

Cayetano also said that traffic management in the area should be prioritized, as well as coordination at places such as the Philippine National Railways Station, metro stations in Taguig and the Integrated Transportation Terminal in Arca South.

Currently, the House of Representatives is located in the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City.
