Although they are sixth in the AFC, it is clear that the Pittsburgh Steelers are underperforming this season.

Perhaps no one is more frustrated with the team's laissez-faire approach heading into 2023 than Super Bowl-winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who mentioned the team's current leadership group in a recent episode of his “Footbahlin' with Ben Roethlisberger” podcast.

“It just feels like that [certain guys aren’t in it for the team, they’re in it for themselves]I just feel like something has been lost a little bit in this band.” Roethlisberger said. “It just doesn't seem like the 'Steeler way' is [there]. … Perhaps a Pittsburgh Steelers tradition has come to an end. Maybe it needs to be framed in a new way. I don't know.”
