Amy Jackson recently shared candid details about her engagement for long-time partner Ed Westwick and also revealed how she son Andreas played a pivotal role in their relationship. Amy was once engaged to a London-based businessman George Panayiotouwith whom he shares his four-year-old son Andreas.
In her recent interview, Amy spoke candidly about how Ed has been an integral part of Andreas' life since he was introduced to him at the age of two. “Andreas has known Ed his entire existence. We were good friends and he's been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. So I think that's one of the reasons I love Ed so much. It's because of the relationship he has with Andreas and how he supports me as a mother and as a working mother,” she told India Today.
Recalling an emotional conversation with her son, Amy said it was Andreas who encouraged her to get engaged to Ed. “He was delighted. It was so funny because a few months ago, I had a ring and it was on this finger. And he said, 'Mommy, aren't you married?' And he asked, 'Why aren't you married to Eddie Mom?'” Amy said with a smile.

Andreas' innocent inquiry sparked a conversation that led Ed to ask the question. “I said, 'He didn't ask me,' and he said, 'Well, I'll tell him,'” Amy laughed. “I don't know if that was encouragement on his part. He gave the green light before Ed probably even had it in mind.”

According to photos posted by Amy, 31, on social media, Westwick, 36, proposed to her on a bridge in Gstaad, Switzerland. On January 29, the couple announced their engagement after almost two years of dating.
