Adam Sandler is joining your Rough gems director Benny Safdie in a new comedy special for Netflix.

The project is Sandler and the streamer's second comedy special after 2018. 100% Freshdirected by Steven Brill with Paul Thomas Anderson, the latter of whom directed Sandler in Drunk love.

Sandler's long-standing contract with Netflix also included several films, including Lion, You're not invited to my Bat Mitzvah, Toil, Murder mystery, Murder Mystery 2, hubie halloween, Sandy Wexler, The week of, The reformulation It is The Ridiculous 6. Additionally, Happy Madison produced Father of the Year, Miss Wrong It is The outlaw.

Sandler's career began with roles on the TV show The Cosby Show and a year later with his film debut in Going to the sea, before entering the stand-up comedy circuit, where he was discovered by Dennis Miller. Miller recommended Sandler to Saturday night live producer Lorne Michaels, who would become the comedian's boss after Sandler took jobs on the long-running NBC series, including writer and featured actor.

After his dismissal from the show, his film career took off. To date, his films have grossed over $3 billion with titles such as Adults, You don't mess with the Zohan, Billy Madison, Big Daddy It is The water boy.
