ABC and Dick Clark Productions have extended their agreement to Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest for another five years. The New Year’s Eve celebration will air on the network until January 1, 2029.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest live from Times Square, the show celebrates the year’s best music and features a night of performances to cap off the holiday season.
It has been ranked as the #1 New Year’s Eve special programming special for over 30 years. This year’s edition drew 17.9 million total viewers and achieved a 5.34 adults 18-49 rating in the midnight quarter hour.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024 airs live on Sunday, December 31st at 8pm on ABC. Details about co-hosts, Times Square performers and additional locations will be announced soon.
