Why Do They Say Woman is Problem?

The Equation of {Woman = Problem}

The Equation of {Woman = Problem}

Ha ha this is the amazing post of the equation of woman and the problem. Most people afraid to get married because they found lots of problem after getting married. It sounds like they think women are the main problem after getting married. I do not think like that though. I was surprised when I accidentally found this picture on the internet. And this picture explains very clear to reader why they say woman is the problem.

Reality, it is not true to say like this because it is not true at all, it just just the accuse of irresponsible man to the woman only. Everybody make mistakes and those individual need to handle that mistakes. Please do not blame or accuse others. When problem happens, please do not say “WHO” to solve the problem; we need to say “HOW” to solve the problem.

I posted this article with this picture because I want to make fun for people. And please stop thinking like this picture :-)

Government To Pay for Neak Loeung Bridge Resettlement

The Cambodian government will organize and pay for the resettlement of the villagers who will be displaced by the Japanese-funded bridge that will connect National Road 1 across the Mekong River in Neak Loeung, Finance Ministry officials said yesterday.

The japnese government on Wednesday signed a deal for the $131-million bridged, which will span the Mekong  River and provide a direct route from Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh City.

Cea Pheng Chheang, secretary of state at the Finance Ministry, said yesterday that though the Japanese government will pay for the bridge, Cambodia is financially responsible for the resettlement  of the families and businesses who will have to make way for the two-kilometer bridge.

“There is a committee responsible for this work…. We are responsible for that, “Mr. Chheang said, adding that he did not know of the details of the resettlement and referred questions to the chairman of the resettlement committee, Nhean Leng, who was unavailable.

Mr Chheang’s statement contradict those made Wednesday by Lim Sidenine, secretary of state for the Ministry of Transportation, regarding the Japanese government’s role in the resettlement process.

“The Japanese counterpart has already provided resettlement and compensation for the impacted people,” Mr Sidenine claimed on Wednesday.

A representative of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency said the Japanese Embassy would issue a statement yesterday clarifying its role in the resettlement but later stated the office would delay releasing the statement until today, after conferring with the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works.

Kobayshi Yukihar, senior representative of JICA, also indicated on Wednesday that the Japanese government is not dealing with resettlement.

“We are not involved in the resettlement mater,” Mr. Yukiharu said after a signing ceremony on Wednesday. “We are not in a position to [be] involved in that.”

The resettlement will occur in mid-July, according to a senior official of the Finance Ministry’s resettlement committee who declined to be named. He added that an initial study showed that more than 100 families would be impacted by the Neak Loeung Bridge and the resettlement committee has already contacted affected villagers.

“We have to closely evaluate the villagers’ properties before providing fair compensation,” he said.

Srok Tirk Pneak Min Mean Kmean Panhaha – Preab Sovat

I love music and I listen to music everyday even I am at home or at work, especially when I am sitting in front of computer. Today when I was surfing on Youtube, I accidentally found this music called “Srok Tirk Pneak Min Mean Kmean Panharaha” sang by Mr. Preab Sovat. This song remind me the time that I was in the first year at the university in 2005. The first time that I listen to this song, I felt nothing and I wonder why the composer composed this song because it was meaningless to me. But in that time I heard all my classmate sang this song and I hear this song was sang everywhere I visited. I really wondered why this song was so interesting to people. I decide to find this mp3 to listen again. “Wow! this is very sweet!” that was the word that I shout out loud after I had listened it.

“Srok Tirk Pneak Min Mean Kmean Panharaha” is so sweet when we focus in its meaning and it is sweeter when we experience like its meaning. Listen this song at the night time is even sweeter if we have the experience like its meaning.

I posted this song because I want to use it as a tool to remember my experience in my university, especially at my first year. Our live is moving too fast and the time is too short for everybody. The past is the past and we cannot move the time back to the past. The past starts from today. Today is the present of the past, but today is the past of tomorrow. If we want to have good past experience, we need to build good experience today.

Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority Is Awash in Success

Water Supply System

Water Supply System

Phnom Penh’s water system has been recognized as world class even though nationwide less than 14 percent of households had running water in the 2008 census. The Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority won the Stockholm Industry Water Award 2010 last week for bringing water to 90 percent of the city, the Stockholm Internation Water Institute announce last week

Since Ek Sonn Chann’s appointment as general director of the water supply authority in 1993, he has led the transformation of Phnom Penh’s formerly dilapidated system.

Back then, the city’s war-torn infrastructure meant poor quality water reached less than a quarter of the poplation for 10 hours per day, Mr. Chann said yesterday.

“Now drinkable quality water is available 24/7…. It is drunk straight from the tap,” Mr. Chann said, noting the water costs a riel per liter.

The authority continues to fix leaks, lay pipes and collect payments, Mr. Chann said, adding that an 8-km pipeline around the city’s ring raod in Dangkao district’s Choam Chao commune is under construction. “I have a dream to bring all water supply in Cambodia to the same level as Phnom Penh,” Mr. Chan Said.

“The PPWSA has successfully fought corruption andshow this can be achieved in a developing country on a large-scale basis using simple but effective management techniques,”the water institute said in announcing the ward on June 2.

According to the statement, the PPWSA will next take on the city’s saniation system and sewage system and the water authority is to make an initial public offering when Cambodia’s stock exchange opens. Read the rest of this entry »

Cambodia Instructed to Host SEA Games by 2015

"Cambodia - Kingdom of Wonder"

"Cambodia - Kingdom of Wonder"

The Southeast Asian Games Council has called upon Cambodia to host their regional sports biannual event by 2015 at the latest, with a faint warning that if the only founding member not to have staged the tournament in its 50-year history misses out on this opportunity., the wait for the next chance could be long and painful as bids are considered on a rotation basis.

Individual member countries have also pledged explicit support and cooperation for Cambodia to push its bid for 2015, but the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) argues that five years could be too short a time for the Kingdom to prepare for a sporting event of that magnitude.

“We are overwhelmed by this show of massive supports, but realistically it may not be possible to mobilize resources create infrastructure and develop human resources in a time frame of five years from now,”stated NOCC Secretary General Vath Chamroeun. “But we have already started work on human resources development as the first phase of our master plan for the SEA Games, and there are so many other big hurdles to cross before we can confidently say “Yes we are ready to do it”.

“We need the government’s help every step of the way for a mega event like this,” he  declared. “We are in discussion with several government agencies and once the master plan is completely drawn, we can predict the time frame on our readiness.

“If not 2015, the next one could possibly be our target,” he said adding that he hoped fellow ASEAN members would respect their predicament.

Singapore relinquished their right to host the 2013 SEA Games due to construction delays of their nw US$1.87 billion Sports Hub. Indonesia will be hosting their fourth edition next year.

Vath Chamreoun laid emphasis on strengthening the NOCC base by goading the 33 affiliated sports federations to start pulling their weight. The secretary revealed that some federations were doing very well while some lay totally dormant. “We at the NOCC want those federations which are inactive to wake up hold elections and usher in a new set of office-bearers who are enthusiastic to promote sport,” be affirmed.

Cambodia plan to take part in six disciplines – Swimming, Athletics, Boxing, Taekwondo, Wrestling and Beach Vlleyball – during the upcoming Asian Games in Guangzhou, the Kingdom’s involvement in the Asian Beach Games to be held in Muscat, Oman in December confined to just Beach Valleyball.

The NOCC has inviting a volleyball expert from China and a wrestling ace from Kazakhstan to conduct specialized technical courses for local coaches.
