The powerful of the eyes of the Tiger
2010 is the Year of the Tiger. Have you ever heard the expression, “He’s got the eye of the tiger.”? It comes from a movie and a song that is about victory… about personal victory. When you have the eye of the tiger, it means you have the passion and desire to make something happen. People can see determination and strength reflected in your eyes. What do you see in the tiger’s eyes when he is hunting? His prey. He is focused on getting it and he won’t stop until he does.
The song goes:
Risin’ up, straight to the top
Have the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I’m not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive
Don’t lose your grip on the dreams of the past. You must fight just to keep them alive.

According to a study about goal setting, only 5% of adults do them. Why is that? Many studies show that people who set goals achieve more, perform better, and are more satisfied with their lives than those who don’t.
Goals generate enthusiasm and provide direction. They represent hopes and dreams. What do you hope to accomplish or become in 2010? Do you want to be healthier? Thinner? Better at something? Start by setting a goal. Make a plan for how you will achieve it. Then put forth the time and effort needed to reach your goal. Any worthwhile goal will take effort and time. You can do it! You’ve got the eye of the tiger.
